Young Worker Got 11kv Electric Shock While Returning from Harvesting Work
In a tragic accident, Muhammad Zubair, a young worker from the village of Sadho Pagala, Pakistan; lost his life after being electrocuted while sitting on a harvester machine. The unfortunate event took place last night near Dhonadyanwala, when Zubair and his team had just completed their harvesting work and were heading home. Zubair, who was seated on top of the harvester machine, came into contact with high-tension power lines (11 kV transmission wires), which resulted in a fatal electric shock.
Zubair was only in his twenties and worked regularly with his father, Muhammad Boota, in their agricultural fields. As the harvester machine passed under the power lines, Zubair, unaware of the danger, was electrocuted and died on the spot. The power lines were high-tension, carrying a strong electrical current, and Zubair received the full force of the shock.
Following the accident, Zubair’s body was immediately transferred to the Tehsil Headquarter Hospital in Nowshera Virkan for further investigation. The doctors confirmed his death upon arrival. Despite the tragic circumstances, the family has chosen not to pursue any legal proceedings or further investigations.
It is also reported that Zubair had recently entered into a love marriage and had been residing in Chak Dhuni Chand with his wife. He was a father to a one-year-old daughter, making this loss even more devastating for his family.
The community is in shock, and many are grieving the loss of such a young life. The incident has also raised concerns about the safety of workers who regularly deal with large machinery and the dangers posed by overhead power lines in agricultural areas.
As the family mourns their loss, they have requested privacy and have decided not to involve the authorities in legal matters related to the incident. The community continues to support them in their time of grief.
