Demands for Upgrading Teacher Salaries and Job Grades
The Alliance leaders called for grade 17 for teachers with MPhil qualifications and grade 18 for PhD holders. They urged significant increases in the non-salary budget and education promotion funds, reinstatement of the 17-A rule under the death quota, and promotions for physical education and Arabic teachers to SST level. They further requested the regularization of AEOs and SSEs without conditions and the immediate filling of vacant teaching and non-teaching positions in schools.
