Rescue 1122 Wins Third Consecutive Championship at Sports Gala
Rescue 1122 from Tehsil Noshehra Warkana triumphed once again at the fifth annual Asif Shaheed Sports Gala, organized under the supervision of District Emergency Officer Gujranwala, Mian Rifat Zia. Held at the Multi Sports Complex in Tatlay Aali, Tehsil Noshehra Warkana, this event marked a milestone for the team, as they secured the championship for the third consecutive year.
Special Guests and Enthusiastic Participation
The Sports Gala was attended by notable figures including Administrator of Emergency Services Department, Syed Kamal Abid, Additional Deputy Commissioner Revenue Gujranwala Shabbir Hussain Butt, Assistant Commissioner Noshehra Warkana, Sahibzada Jawad Hussain Pirzada, social worker Mohsin Ali, and Advocate Seth Aftab Ahmad. The event featured intense competitions among five teams from different rescue stations across the district, as well as a volunteer rescue team.

The event saw thrilling matches in cricket, athletics, badminton, tug-of-war, target shooting, musical chairs, sack races, and ball throwing. In an exciting display of teamwork and spirit, Rescue 1122 from Tehsil Noshehra Warkana, led by Irfan Mosa, clinched the first place once again. Tehsil Wazirabad came in second. The female rescuers of Tehsil Noshehra Warkana, led by Saba Hassan, continued their winning streak by securing first place in their category.
